I trained for four years in cutting-edge, contemporary attachment theory and neuroscience at The Bowlby Centre. I am a member of The Bowlby Centre and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am insured by the Psychologists' Protection Society.
My approach is based on significant developments from the last few decades, which show how intimate relationships filled with stress, neglect and trauma can cause damaging responses such as anger, fear, withdrawal, depression and anxiety. Crucially, I am trained to help undo those responses through a relationship with you where it feels safe enough to explore your fears, pains and anxieties.
I have particular experience in helping those with depression, anxiety, addictions and intimacy issues. I particularly love working with individuals and couples struggling to make their relationships work.
